This past year, the Juneau County community lost a dear friend and neighbor, Robert (Bob) Holig. Although he may be gone, Bob’s memory still lives on with a title wave of support from area residents as the designing and building of Holig Dairy Pavilion at the Juneau County Fairgrounds gets underway.
Now, thanks to Scully Oil Co., Inc., the project is one step closer to completion. Scully Oil Co., Inc. recently gave $5,000.00 to Juneau County Agricultural, Industrial and Recreational Society (JCAIRS) to be used for the Holig Dairy Pavilion Building Fund as part of the BP Fueling Communities Grant Program.
When asked about the opportunity to donate to this community project, Jeff Scully, owner of Scully Oil Co, Inc., said, “Our family and the Scully Oil Company team have been blessed with opportunities and good fortune over the years that have allowed us to give back to community initiatives – like the building of the Holig Dairy Pavilion – that make us stronger. As this project goes from planning to reality, we look forward, with anticipation, to watching this memorial pay tribute to a great man whose family has an excellent sense of community.”
BP Fueling Communities Grant Program makes grants to qualified organizations that are nominated by BP’s jobbers, direct supplied dealers and branded marketers.
