On Monday, December 3, 2012, our Scully Oil team members volunteered their time for the 3rd year in a row to help make Christmas special for many of the children in this area.

There were 10 team members from Lyndon Station BP, Mauston Interstate BP and our home office that helped to organize all the toys for families that need a little extra help.  Jeff Scully helped bring all the toys from the Mauston Library to the Armory, so that all the packaging of the gifts could begin.

A special thanks to everyone who did the shopping for all these wonderful toys and to the boys and girls from FFA (Future Farmers of America), FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Key Club and the girls Basketball Team who helped with all the heavy lifting.  And this year Toys for Joy had help from Dr. Christine Weymouth, Superintendent of Schools, Mauston School District and Jim Dillin, Principal of Mauston High School join in the volunteer work. When you think about all the people it takes to make this process work, it’s amazing!  And we all knew what needed to be done, so it was a complete success.

This year Toys for Joy was able to provide toys to 169 families and 379 children and every family was able to go home with a turkey too!

We all enjoyed helping with this worthy cause and can’t wait to come back next year to help again!!
