On September 18, 2010, the Camp Douglas BP Team enjoyed the third annual “Stepping up for Hunger” 5k Walk / Run to help raise money and awareness for the hungry in our area. The walkers / runners were bussed to to Camp Douglas then they return on the Elroy bike trail back to Hustler, WI. All the proceeds are split between the five Juneau County Food Pantries, Wonewoc, Necedah, New Lisbon, Mauston and Elroy. This year the organizers have raised over $8500.00, which is 2000.00 more than last year.
